OUr Story
We are a 25-year-old couple learning how to navigate the world beyond our comfort zone. With over 20 countries under our belt, here is how our passion for travel started.
The Beginning
Our story begins in college, during our senior year at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, OR. It was the typical meet-cute – we met at our local bar and Connor was sporting a beautiful pair of shark swim shorts in the middle of winter. This caught my (Caitlin’s) eye, I thought I better ask for that boy’s number. That was the beginning of 2023, and we have been inseparable ever since.

After graduation, we moved to Seattle, Washington, where we landed our first remote jobs as Database Administrators. The flexibility of working remotely gave us a whole new sense of freedom. We explored every part that we could of Seattle during our time there. From the iconic Pike Place Market to catching live sports games and attending big city events, we quickly fell in love with the energy of experiencing a new place.
Our travel journey
2024 was the year we truly caught our stride with traveling. With our remote jobs allowing us to work from anywhere, we took advantage of the flexibility and embarked on trips all over the U.S. We visited 8 different states and 4 different countries in just ONE year. The real turning point for us came when we decided to take our first international trip just the two of us. We ventured to Southeast Asia for a month and a half, visiting Bali, Singapore, Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai – and we absolutely LOVED IT! The trip solidified our desire to make travel a priority our lives
